2. Padstow Vintage Rally, 30 June to 2 July

If vintage vehicles are your thing, you’ll love this retro event. Located just a few miles from your accommodation at Ocean Blue, the Rally features a stunt show, hundreds of rare vehicles and trade stands.

3. Tunes in the Dunes, 30 June to 2 July

4. Rock Oyster Festival, 7 and 8 July

5. Port Eliot Festival, 27 to 30 July

Cornwall’s very own mini-Glastonbury, the Port Eliot Festival has grown year after year since it was first held in 2003.

Originally established as a literary festival, the event now also offers live music, comedy, craft workshops, science exhibits, yoga sessions and wild swimming.

6. Boardmasters Surf, Skate & Music Festival, 9 to 13 August

Fistral Beach in Newquay comes alive in August every year, playing host to the annual Boardmasters Festival.

Headlining the music stage in 2017 is Jamiroquai, but you’ll also find intimate evening gigs on the sand, by less well-known artists, as well as yoga on the beach, professional surfing, shopping in the surf village and freshly prepared local food.
