Ocean Blue FAQs
What time can we check-in?
Guests are able to check into their apartments from 4pm on the first day of their holidays. If you arrive early, the bustling town of Padstow is just 4 miles away where you can watch the world go by in one of the waterside pubs and restaurants.
If you’d prefer to stay closer to the complex, the beach is just minutes from the carpark and there is a small cafe where you can purchase drinks and light lunches.
What about check-out?
We ask that guests vacate their apartment or holiday cottage by 10am on the final day of their holiday. This allows us time to clean the apartments and prepare for the next guests.
Do you offer discounts?
We occasionally put special offers on the website – these often go quickly as we also send them to our email subscribers. If you’d like to get early access to discounts and deals as they’re announced, you can join the email list here.
Is there parking?
The Ocean Blue complex provides a parking space for each apartment, numbered to correspond with the number of your accommodation.
We appreciate that occasionally guests have two cars in their party – there are an two visitor parking spaces but unfortunately we can’t guarantee the availability of these. In the event that both visitor spaces are full, there is a pay and display carpark nearby.
Where can we eat nearby?
There is a small cafe at Treyarnon Bay, where you can purchase breakfast, light meals, hot and cold drinks, and ice-creams.
The busy town of Padstow is just four miles away, where there are plenty of restaurants and pubs.
Can we get a food shop delivered?
You can order your food shopping online before you arrive, get it delivered to your apartment in advance and we’ll put it away for you before you arrive.
If you can, request a delivery time between 12noon and 2pm. Just let us know when it’s ordered, which supermarket it’s coming from and we’ll keep an eye out for it.
Can we get wifi?
There is free wifi throughout the apartment complex. Due to the rural nature of the complex it isn’t Superfast.
How’s the phone signal at Ocean Blue Cornwall?
Due to the remote location of the properties, we can’t guarantee a strong mobile signal which means you can easily go off-grid during your holiday if you’d like to!
There is a landline within your apartment which enables you to make outgoing emergency calls only. You can also receive calls on this line.
Do you provide cots and highchairs?
Just let us know in advance if you need a cot or a highchair and we can ensure these are available on your arrival. We can also provide a Z-bed if you need space for an extra guest – just tell us before you arrive.
Is there a welcome hamper?
Of course there is!
Our complimentary welcome hamper is packed with locally sourced gourmet delights to enjoy on arrival.
