Best fireworks displays in Cornwall 2016

Holding a hot chocolate in your gloved hand, writing your name in the sky with a sparkler, and ooh-ing and aah-ing at the spectacular displays – just some of the reasons we love bonfire night.

Truro, Friday 04 November, 17:00-19:00

Fireworks Truro 2016

Head over to Tremorvah Fields in Truro to enjoy a night of fantastic fireworks. Any child bringing their own Guy will enjoy free admission to the event – otherwise, prices are £3 per adult, £1 per child, and free for under 4s.

There will also be refreshment stalls and the opportunity to purchase sparklers and glow-sticks.

Flambards, Helston, Monday 24 October, 18:00-21:00

The display at Cornwall’s Flambards Themepark takes place during half-term, on Monday and Wednesday.

Normal admission prices apply (£19.95 per adult and £14.95 per child), and the latest you can arrive is 19:00 with the fireworks being lit at 20:00.

Trevone, Saturday 05 November, from 19:00

This annual display has become very popular with thousands attending to watch the display from the beach every year. Traditional bonfire night treats include a roaring fire and fireworks display.

Plymouth, Saturday 05 November, from 16:00

The city of Plymouth is hosting a fireworks spectactular again on the Hoe this year. The event, regularly attending by thousands of people from the surrounding areas, features a huge bonfire and breath-taking fireworks as well as an evening of live entertainment and music.
