Eating out in Cornwall

Savour gastronomic Cornwall

This small part of North Cornwall is rapidly gaining a reputation for being one of Britain’s most exciting gastro regions.
It is the perfect destination for food-lovers with local ingredients such as freshly caught fish and seafood appearing on most menus. Today there is a vast quantity of quality eateries to choose from...

The Seafood Restaurant

Padstow is home to Rick Steins famous Seafood Restaurant, since opening in 1975, The Seafood Restaurant has established an international reputation for imaginative cooking of the very freshest fish and shellfish. The restaurant is situated just across the quay from where the lobster boats and trawlers tie up and much of the fish comes, literally, straight off the boats and in the kitchen door.
They now have a seafood bar right in the middle of the restaurant where you can watch chefs assembling platters of oysters, langoustines, sushi and sashimi.
